Email is not what it used to be
In the past email was the primary way of communicating with your members. You could rely on everyone looked at their email. Times have changed for the younger crowd though. The only time they look at their email is when an old person sends them one.
Spam filters are now catching more and more valid email as people use the SPAM button instead of the delete button and consign even responsible and valid email servers to the sin bin.
Younger people use email less and less
Most membership organisations have a mix of young and old members so it is important that we include Email distribution as part of the system. This system links into Mailchimp because there is no point in reinventing the wheel!
Even for large databases of members it is more cost effective than running your own mail server. The reporting is second to none and it includes many templates that work on all platforms.
